Daniel J. Roddy, President
Dan Roddy is a career insurance professional that is dedicated to delivering the highest level of expertise in risk management for clients he counsels. He has served as President of HMBD Insurance Services since 2001 and leads the agency with the same guiding principles that it was founded upon in 1918: experience, knowledge, integrity, quality and customer care and service. Dan joined the agency in 1974 after graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance. Dan heads up the Railroad Division at HMBD and continues to assist in developing new products and coverage's for the Railroad industry.
Dan has previously served on many local community boards including the YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, Community Hospital of Long Beach and several other community association boards.
Ted Elink-Schuurman, Vice-President
Ted Elink-Schuurman is a Vice-President at HMBD Insurance Services, Inc. and has been an integral part of the growth and success of HMBD since 1984.
Ted is responsible for the Medical Professional Liability Division of HMBD and is a highly skilled and experienced professional. As a specialist Ted understands the unique needs of the healthcare industry. He is a professional who is favored by clients for an honest, sincere, hands-on approach in providing them the information and help they want and the insurance solutions they need.
A native of California, Ted graduated from UCLA with a BA degree in Economics. In keeping abreast of industry changes, current legislation and new product applications, Ted attends ongoing accredited courses continually expanding his industry knowledge and experience.
Ted has an excellent and growing reputation in the insurance community. He has served as the President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of Long Beach.

Todd G. Miller, Vice-President
Todd Miller is a Vice-President of HMBD Insurance Services and is an integral part of its growth and success. Todd manages the agency's construction division and is a highly skilled and experienced professional with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Todd's expertise ranges from small businesses to multi-state regional companies having served builders and developers, contractors, manufacturers, distributors, service providers and property owners throughout an insurance career that dates back to 1984.
In addition to developing strong relationships with his clients, Todd also has an excellent reputation in the insurance community. He is a former President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of Long Beach, and was bestowed the prestigious industry award of "Agent of the Year" from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association.
Todd is as graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.
Glenn B. Agoncillo, Vice-President
Glenn B. Agoncillo joined HMBD Insurance Services in 2004 and has been in the insurance industry since 1998. He excelled as a Sales Agent of Personal Insurance with The Hartford AARP and brings his experience and knowledge to HMBD. Glenn focuses on providing the best overall insurance protection plan for his clients by simply explaining the difference between having insurance and being properly insured. Glenn's expertise emcompasses all personal and business insurance as well as Homeowner Associations, Non-Profit and Business Organizations.
A native of Southern California, Glenn is involved with the community. He is an active member of Kiwanis Club Long Beach, local non-profit organizations and serves on the board for several insurance companies where he continues to be a vocal advocate for his clients. He received an award from the City of San Diego's Board of Education in 1996 for his accomplishments in unifying the community and education.
Travis L. England, CIC, CRM, Certified PPACA Professional, Vice-President
Travis L. England has been assisting commercial clients in the Southern California since 1993. A Graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Finance, and a collegiate athlete, Travis knows what hard work and discipline is all about.
As a Certified Insurance Counselor, Travis has the ability to offer a complete risk management assessment of your loss exposure. This is executed by a complete overview of your existing insurance policies, financial statements, and physical inspection.
In addition to his insurance expertise, Travis has an integral knowledge of employee benefits derived from his experience with a major payroll company. He also has an in depth understanding of employee leasing and how organizations can manage their risk. Travis is also a Certified PPACA Professional and has in depth understanding of the Affordable Care Act and can help businesses and individuals navigate through the National Health Care Reform.
